We want to make the creative industry more diverse by supporting young people who are underrepresentedunder-represented.

Make It Happen is a creative mentoring programme we set up to inspire and empower young people who haven't entered the creative industries.

Our founder Leo saw first hand the impact industry guest lecturers had at University. Supporting aspiring creatives by connecting them with industry leaders is a powerful way to gain real knowledge and industry insight. Our vision is that every young person should have the opportunity to access a creative career, irrespective of their start in life.

We work with industry experts looking to give back to the creative community, training them as mentors. Mentees grow their understanding of the industry but also develop key skills to help them succeed. Mentors tap into a new generation of diverse talent allowing them to contribute to a more inclusive culture.

The Programme

Our 12 week programme for people aged between 18-25 allows us to offer real knowledge to those who need it.

A rigorous matching process ensures the best pairings possible, whilst both mentors and mentees complete training to set them up for success. Not only do mentees work with their mentor but we offer masterclasses to help them land their dream job.
